Maria is originally from the Sauk Prairie area. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, in Madison, Wisconsin where Maria enjoyed playing on the soccer team. Maria then continued on at the UW to complete her Master of Science as a Physician Assistant at the University of Wisconsin - Madison PA school, where she enjoyed learning.

Maria joined Prairie Clinic in 2004 as a Physician Assistant. She still enjoys soccer and other sports in addition to music.
