Beatrice Murray, MD, was born in Reedsburg and went to high school in Baraboo. Her undergraduate degree in biology was earned from University of Chicago. She enjoyed the lively, rigorous academic community, and it was a great experience for her.

Dr. Murray received her Medical Degree at Unversity of Southern California, and her clinical training was at L.A. County Hospital. L.A. County Hospital was a huge facility, where she had the opportunity to see and treat a wide variety of conditions.

Dr. Murray completed her residency with Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital, where she focused her training on general pediatrics. It was a perfect fit for her.

Dr. Murray has gone to Ethiopia twice with pediatric residents to work at a maternal/child hospital there.

Dr. Murray moved back to the area (Northeast Madison) in 2008 and joined Prairie Clinic in April of 2010. She enjoys working in a more rural area and found Prairie Clinic's efforts to assure quality medical care advanced. She wanted to work with a group that works together to provide a community with excellent medical care.

Dr. Murray enjoys biking and cooking.
