John C. Strickler, MD, grew up in Excelsior, Minnesota and earned his bachelorate at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Strickler received his Medical Degree at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He particularly enjoyed Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Strickler completed his residency with Southern Colorado Family Medicine in Pueblo, Colorado, where Dr. Shultz also did his residency.

Dr. John C. Strickler came to the Sauk Prairie area in 1988 to work at the Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. He then joined Prairie Clinic on February 1st, 2010 for the opportunity to practice Family Medicine.
